"So, where's this school again?" Ava asked as we walked to King's Station.
"I told you, not far from London. Well, actually, it's in Scotland." I said, heaving my luggage.
"But that really doesn't tell us anything! Can you tell us what the school's like at least?" Maddelyn cried.
"It's a top notch boarding school. Once one's accepted, they go there until their last year. Basically when I graduate my last year of high school." I stated.
"We'll really miss you, you know. Will you come back for holidays?" Ava asked.
"Of course I will! Unless Mum and Dad want me to stay at school." I smiled.
Mum and Dad led us to a train car on the Muggle train. I climbed aboard with all my luggage.
"Bye! I'll write you as often as I can!" I smiled as I waved.
"If you don't, we'll have your head when you come for hoildays!" Maddelyn grinned.
I continued waving as the train pulled out of the station. Once we were out of sight, I felt a tap on my shoulder.
"Hello young one. I am Rubeus Hagrid, Keeper of Keys and Grounds at Hogwarts. If you would follow me please." A giant, hairy man smiled at me.
I did as I was told, with great difficulty. Dragging lugguage through a train car full of Muggles is very embarassing.
Hagrid led me to a baggage car, filled with Muggles' belongings.
"Hagrid, what are we doing here?" I asked.
"I'm going to escourt you to Hogwarts. Now, take hold of me. We're going to use a portkey."
"A wh-" Before I could finish my question, we were whisked away. I screamed as we spun at an inhuman rate.
"Oof." I landed with a thud. Surprisingly, my luggage stayed in tact.
Hagrid helped me up and led to me to a water way.
"Hop in the boat. I shall take you to meet the other first years." Hagrid said with a smile. I did as I was told.
BY now, the sky had grown dark and the stars had begun to shine. I marveled at the sight that approached. A grand castle lit up sat in the distance.
"Hagrid, is that Hogwarts?" I asked in awe.
"Sure is! Now, we'll be docking soon. You will a bit late when we arrive. Possibly the last to be sorted." Hagrid grinned before frowning.
I copied his facial expressions. I knew by the sound of it, it probably wasn't the best to be the last to arrive.
