Career Day — For the first time ever, Hogwarts is having a Career Day for third years and up! This came after criticism from the last few years from fifth years realizing they hadn’t taken the electives necessary for the job they wanted, saying the school should’ve given them that information while they were choosing electives as third years. So, on August 12, Hogwarts is having its first ever Career Day! Each Professor has invited a few guests to speak about their careers. Some have stated or hinted at who they’re inviting. Professor Trelawney, for example, sighed and stared deeply into my eyes, a forlorn look on her face. “I have invited two Ministry Employees who are doomed to die within this month.” Professor Wood, the Flying Professor, said he “invited every single professional Quidditch player in the UK.” When asked what she thought, Headmistress McGonagall just sighed and said “I really should retire soon.”
