August: Werewolf Anti-Stigma Month — The month of August is known as Werewolf Anti-Stigma Month in the Wizarding World, and for the first time ever, Hogwarts is acknowledging it! In Potions, you can learn how to brew Wolfsbane; Professor Creevey is teaching about werewolves in Muggle Studies; both CoMC and DADA are having classes about defense against transformed werewolves; and HoM is teaching about the classification of werewolves in their human form as non-beasts. And to top it all off, Headmistress McGonagall has arranged a school assembly with 3 werewolf guest speakers, which is to take place on the 7th. Attendance is recommended but not mandatory.
