Natalia VS Aaliyah
Chapter 3
That night, Natalia looked out of the window and gazed into the moonlight. She fingered her wand, as if deciding, and then jabbed it in the air with a non-verbal spell. Then, she cackled, though no one heard.
Next morning
Natalia was brushing her hair in the morning while Mary, Loura, Reena, Xenia and Isabel were outside, all giggling and gossiping together.

"What do you think Natalia will teach us?" Wondered Isabel looking thrilled
"I don't know whatever she will teach us I hope it'll something good!" Replied Xenia cheefully
Then Aaliyah popped out from the corner startling Mary so much she pulled out her wand and cried
"Be warned!"
Aaliyah laughed although she didn't want too. She disliked these girls but if she wanted to learn she would have to accept.

"What are you doing here?" Isabel demanded. Mary was searching her beadily.
"Thought to come sneaking into Slytherin common room?" Mary said. Xenia shook her head in disgust while Loura's eyes flickered back and forth between the door and Aaliyah.

"Here listen! I just wanted to ask a favour!" Whispered Aaliyah hurridly "Could you ask Natalia if I could... You know... Join the learning group." Aaliyah turned red as the girls looked her up and summing her up shewdly.
"Learning group?" Sneered Isabel.
"Why should we give you favours? It's not a learning group...no, much better than that. Imagine getting all this from Natalia Smith!!! She can do non-verbal spells, FIRST YEAR!" Mary demanded, rolling her eyes and giving a sweeping motion with her hands.

"I do know that." Aaliyah retorted temper rising " That's why I'd like to join! and DO NOT sneer at me thank you Isabel!"
"Your welcome. I don't mind doing it again." Isabel said. Then, footsteps sounded and the door opened. Natalia stood there.
"Oh, Natalia, thank you so much! We got the message!!" Gushed Loura.
"Natalia, you are a genius, how did you think of doing that!" Isabel and Reena said in unison, their eyes hopeful. But Natalia was looking at Aaliyah.
"What do you want? Move," She said quitely, with no hint of threat in her voice.
"Oh, Natalia, thank you so much! We got the message!!" Gushed Loura.
"Natalia, you are a genius, how did you think of doing that!" Isabel and Reena said in unison, their eyes hopeful. But Natalia was looking at Aaliyah.

"I shall. In a minute." Replied Aaliyah standing her ground.
Loura shook her head pityingly Mary scowled and Reena glared. But everyone waited impatiently for Natalias answer.

"Is that so?" She whispered in a deadly voice.
Aaliyah in the inside quivered and her heart told her too give up. Then ignoring her own warnings, she said with spirit
"Yes it is."
"Yes it is."
"I'm afraid I don't have all day." Said Natalia, her sea-like eyes glinted. The other were watching it like a tennis ball match
"Sadly nor do I." retaliated Aaliyah surpassing herself. She did not know she had it in her to respond so sharply. She dimly noticed the gawping croud surrounding her she placed her concentration only on Natalia
"I see that you will not tell me why you are here. It is pointless to talk then. And, you will not move." Natalia drew up her wand and flicked it casually, making Aaliyah shift side-ways. Natalia moved on, accaomanied by her supporters.
Aaliya felt a strong surge of recklessness. Behind Natalia's back she whispered her signiture spell.
"Stupefy."

But Natalia heard. She whipped her wand around and flung herself into the shadow.
"Coward!" She said louder than her usual whisper.
"Oh no, you don't, girly!" She said, firing a spell onto Aaliyah. Within seconds, she was lying on the floor, stunned.
"Lesson Number 1." She said, now whispering again. She came up to the fallen figure and spoke to her.
"It's cowardly to attack from behind. You did not move, just stood there to waste my time. Think...I have power. You have a choice. Either join me or become my enemy. Choose. Loura, take her wand." Loura bent down and carefully took the wand and regained skulking in the shadows.
"Rennervate" Natalia said softly
"Coward!" She said louder than her usual whisper.
"Oh no, you don't, girly!" She said, firing a spell onto Aaliyah. Within seconds, she was lying on the floor, stunned.

Usually after being stunned memories reappear as quick as a flash but a well performed one. Well it's deadly.
"Oopsie!" Natalia giggled. "A bit too harsh was it? Never mind." Natalia cackled and flicked her wand again. Aaliyah immidietely felt better and her memories slowly reapeared.
"You have a choice. Either join me or become my enemy. Choose." She repeated, her eyes staring unblikingly at the weak figure and her own wand pointing at Aaliyah.

"Why on earth would I want to become your enemy?" She enquired as she stood up and brushed herself down aware of the steadily pointed wand. "I came to ask in face if I could join you!"
Xena stood up nodding and spoke up.
"She did ask us if she could join us we of course left the deciding to you." Xena sat down nodding importantly eagerly waiting for Natalias response.

"Well...you will not tell anyone about this or what we do. Then, you may."Then she addressed the whole group (including Aaliyah) "I'm rather hungry. Let's go down." And the whole group followed her to breakfast, Aaliyah a bit more cheerful
Nadia watched Aaliyah follow Natalia and fell deep into thought. Why Natalia? She did some awful things to that poor girl on the train! Well I don't think she's quite so easily led as me. She wouldn't get roped into awful things! She confided her thoughts to Rose and wondered what her wise friends advice would be.
