Quidditch Player(s) of the Issue
Chapter 5
As always, it's time to talk about another quidditch player of the issue. Please welcome Carlos Vargas, who used to be one of Bolivia's national Beaters.
Carlos Vargas is a former Bolivian professional Beater, who played professionally for 16 years, and won the Quidditch world cup twise. Though shorter than the typical Beater, he used his strength and aggressiveness to become one of Quidditch's most renound players.
Carlos was born and raised in Oruro, Bolivia. His parents divorced when he was young after his father abandoned the family, which included younger brother Hans Vargas. His mother remarried and they had a son, Eyvind Rodriguez.
When he was 11, he got his letter for and attended Castelobruxo, the magic school located deep inside the amazon rainforest. He fell in love with Quidditch the minute he arrived, and tried out for the team every year, only to be put on the sub team. However, in his 5th year, one of the beaters was injured and he had to play for him. And he managed to win them the game. After that, he was put on the team for the rest of his time at school, when he went on to become a renound Quidditch player.
