Claire woke up in darkness. Strange shadows were cast upon the wall and people were yelling in the distance. Claire's Mother was shaking her. "Claire, grab your things, now. You have to escape, I will hold them off. " "But, Mother."She looked at her confusingly. Claire's  Mother kissed Claire. "Go."I  will meet you at Baond Cavern." "Promise?" "I promise" Claire's Mother hugged her. Claire painfully said goodbye. Knowing it would probably be the last time she saw her mother, then she ran out the back of her house. As she looked back her mother was holding her father's sword defending a tall man fighting with an axe. The suddenly Claire saw stars and then, everything was black.
