“Why would he want me sooner, I’m only 12, plus he hates me” 

“He hates all of us, or at least us, he uses us because we do what he wants, and your powerful” 

“Well I’m not feeling so powerful as of late” 

“Y/n your 12 and already you can apparate, make things fly without a wand, you can do non-verbal magic, your good in potions, you can resist the imperius curse 99% of the time, plus your smart and have confidence” 

“Well when you put it that way. But your good at things too” I reasoned 

“Like what?”

“Your good with daggers, you know how to fight without magic, your resourceful, you can heal cuts and probably do lodes of other things with your fire hands, your good at designing things, and even if you seem dumb you actually can be smart at times” 

“Yeah well father is not really looking for those things, he cares more about power as in magic, not what you can do without magic” 

“Ok, can we go to dinner? I’m hungry” 

“Sure” He stood up and then helped me get up then we went to the Great Hall. Theodore and Enzo greeted me with smiles. I ate then left with Mattheo. When we were walking down the hallway Thomas appeared in front of us “What are you doing here?” Mattheo questions. Thomas grabs us and suddenly we are in the Forbidden Forest. It’s dark and it takes my eyes a moment to adjust. Mattheo was tied to a tree and his mouth was covered and Thomas was looking at me. 

“You have two options you can either go back to the castle alone or untie Mattheo and go back together, just keep in mind it’s a full moon and this is the forbidden forest” He left. I ran to Mattheo and tried to untie the ropes. They are spelled, it will be nearly impossible to untie them, Mattheo said to me through the link. I heard a howl from deep within the forest. Mattheo locked eyes with me. You need to go. No, I am not leaving you, can you try to use your hands to burn through the rope?. He grabbed the rope and I started to see the rope burn and soon it came off then he took the one off his mouth. I heard the howl closer. Mattheo grabbed me and we started running back to the castle. He went to open the door but it was locked. 

“Is the astronomy tower near here?” I asked 

“Yeah it’s there” He pointed up and to the right “Why?” I waved my hands and he flew into the air. I saw him grab the ledge and pull himself over. I had never made myself float, as far as I knew I couldn't. I saw the werewolf coming closer and closer. Then I felt hands grabbing me and suddenly I was on the astronomy tower. Mattheo was on the ground, Theo was leaning against the wall, smoking without a care in the world, and Enzo was looking from Mattheo on the ground to me to someone behind me. I turned and saw Thomas standing a few steps behind me. I wondered why he saved me after he had been hurting me. 

“Father wants you alive” He replied, reading my mind then disappeared. Mattheo got up and went over to Theodore and Theo gave Mattheo a cigarette and he started smoking. I looked at Enzo. Why was he always confused, or was he just confused around me? 

“I’m going to bed” I commented then left. Enzo followed me.

“What just happened?” He asked “How does Mattheo fly without a broom and how can that boy apparate in Hogwarts?” 

“It’s a long story but basically I can make things and people fly without using a wand and that other boy is my other brother, Thomas” 

“And how does he teleport in Hogwarts?” 

“I think you know” 

“Is he a Dea-” 

“Don’t” I cut him off “But yes, don’t tell anyone else. Can I trust you?” 

“Yes, but I want to know one more thing”

“What?”

“Two questions. One, Are you one, and what did your brother mean with what he said, what do you have to do?” 

“No, I am not one but Mattheo thinks my father wants me to be one sooner, if not, all of us become on the summer before fifth year” 

“By all of us you mean Mattheo and you?” 

“Yeah” 

“Was that your choice?”

“Nope, we don’t get a lot of choices from him” I looked at the ground

“Is that why your father wants you alive?”

“More or less” I replied “I’m going to my dorm” 

“Wait, does Theo know?” 

“I don’t know, Mattheo might have told him but I don’t know, though I would think that he might have figured it out himself, just don’t bring it up around him or ever just in general, forget about it if you can” I walked away and soon I was in my dorm. 

I got ready for bed and read a bit then went to sleep. 

I got up early and got ready for the day then headed to the astronomy tower. Theodore was there like always, smoking. I came up behind him and he turned slightly to see who it was. 

“Are you up here every morning?” I asked 

“Pretty much, the view of the sunrise is breathtaking from up here” He turned to face the castle grounds and I looked as well, the sun had already risen but it was still a pretty view. 

“Y/n, can I ask for your opinion?”

“That depends, what do you need my opinion on?” 

“My father talked to your father about me… joining him when Mattheo joins… he gave me an option to join or I wouldn’t be his son anymore and I would probably die” He shook his head “I don’t know what to do. I don’t want to join and I don’t want to die” 

“That's tough” I frowned

“I mean how do you deal with it, knowing that you're going to be one, one day?” 

“Did Mattheo tell you about us?” 

“Yes and no, I put the pieces together over time, can you tell me more about it. If you want that is” 

“No, I can tell you about it. All of us have to get the mark the summer before our fifth year, Thomas has it, Mattheo and I will get it”

“So how do you deal with it, how, what am I supposed to do?”

“I don’t deal with it that well, I don’t really deal with it at all. I have known since I was young that I would get it someday so for me, I can’t stop it from happening. I mainly have just accepted it, it’s not a choice so” I shrugged “I have no choice, if I try to get myself killed, which I probably wouldn’t do, I would get stoped or saved because my father doesn't want me dead” I continued “I don’t know If I can give my opinion because I have never gotten the option but if given the option I would be one because I don’t want to die and I wouldn’t want to disappoint my father, but most of all, I can still see people I know and it’s not like 24/7. But I don’t really know, you can ask Mattheo about it, just not in front of a bunch of people” I added
