I made my way back to the cabin that Theodore and Enzo were in. They looked up at me when I came in and went back to my spot by the window. 

“What happened” Theodore asked

“They are not fighting anymore but Thomas left” 

“What do you mean left?”

“He disapparated” Theodore left and Enzo and I were alone again.

“What happened to your wrist?” He asked

“I don’t really know, my brother just touched me and it left that mark” 

“Does it hurt?” 

“It feels like a sunburn” 

I changed into my robes right before we arrived at school then met up with my brother. Enzo came with us. He was going to be sorted before the first years got there. I just followed Mattheo until we got the carriages. I had heard how thestrals pulled the carriages and sure enough they did. I put my hand out and touched it, it seemed to like me. I got a few glances from other students wondering what I was doing. I guess they were lucky in some ways that they couldn’t see them but they were so interesting. Mattheo gave me a hand to help me into the carriage since my shoulder was sore and it hurt to move that arm. We sat down and Mattheo handed me my dagger “You left this”

I grabbed it and hid it “Thanks” I whispered 

“No problem” He returned in the same volume

When we got to the castle we made our way to the Great Hall and I sat at the Ravenclaw table. Enzo was the same as me, a hatstall between Ravenclaw and Slythern, Except for him, he finally got put in Slytherin. 

All the new first years came in and got sorted. I snuck out early and headed to the common room. I was going to miss just having a password, here I had to do a riddle. “What can only reply when spoken to?” It asked 

“And echo” I replied after thinking for a minute. The door opened and I made my way up and looked in every doorway until I found a room with only one bed and my stuff in it. I went in and closed the door. The room was small but I had more space and storage then I did when I roomed with the boys. It had a private bathroom and its own balcony but I couldn’t see much in the darkness. I unpacked and put everything where it belonged. I put the dreamcatcher from Indu up by my bed. I took a shower then got into comfy sleeping clothes, brushed my hair and teeth, then put my hair up in a bun to keep it from getting tangled. I made sure the doors were locked then I put a spell that would keep them locked that only I could take off then I closed the curtains and got into bed. After reading for about an hour I turned off my light and fell asleep.  

I got up early the next morning and got ready then changed into my robes and headed to breakfast. I looked over at the Slytherin table to see Mattheo, Theodore, and Enzo sitting together but Thomas wasn’t there. I walked over and sat down next to Mattheo. Enzo and Theodore were talking but Mattheo looked deep in thought. “Any word from Thomas?” I asked

“Nope” He turns to face me “How are you, how’s your arm?” 

“It’s fine, still hurts” I reported “Are you ok?” 

“Yeah, I’m fine” He looked down at his food and started eating. Halfway through breakfast we received our schedules. I had potions then charms, lunch, then DADA and herbology. Breakfast ended and I headed off to potions. Class was easy. I was the first to finish the potion, Thomas had taught it to me last year. Next was charms, that was easy too but harder than usual, I felt that my magic was weaker and maybe it was, maybe it had to do with the spell or whatever Thomas did when he touched me. 

At lunch I was silent, or at least I thought I was “Y/n, your mind is very loud right now, it’s all over the place, what's up?” Mattheo asked 

“I don’t know” I got up and left. I got down the hallway before he caught up and made me stop.

“What’s wrong Y/n?” He sounded concerned 

“It’s my magic, I just feel weaker ever since Thomas hurt me” I explained “And… I feel… dizzy” I went to the wall and used it to help stay up, I felt so dizzy. I fell back and Mattheo caught me.
