“Gabriel come outside,” I whispered.
“Why?” He asked.
“Just do it,” I answered.
He got up and put his coat on to come outside. When he got out there he yelled. Santa turned around and said, “What are you doing up?”
Gabriel just fainted. Santa got off the roof, picked up my brother, and went down the chimney. I got up from my hiding spot to pet the reindeer.
“Hi Rudolph,” I said.
I knew which one was Rudolph because of his nose. I went down the ladder to see if I could see Santa. He was putting Gabriel on the couch. I climbed back up the ladder to meet Santa at the chimney when he came back. He came up the chimney and said, “Well looks like I’m having to take care of two kids,”
“Hi Santa, can I get a hug for my Christmas present,” I replied, “I don’t want much more.”
“Well okay,” he answered, “But only if you go right back to bed after.”
“Okay,” I replied.
I hugged Santa then I went back to bed. I was glad I got to see Santa, but I was also glad I was in a warm home again.
