Uncle Sam throws Dixie into her room. "I told her know funny business. NO DINNER" uncle Sam said slamming the door. Dixie plops on her bed "why can't they treat me right?" she looks out the window and sees something fly towards her. "What, what's that?" she squints her eyes seeing it was an owl. She jumps back when the owl lands by her window. The owl hits the glass with its beak. Dixie opens the window and the bird drops a letter in her room. Dixie grabs the letter "what's this?" Dixie said opening it. She reads it "dear Ms. Granger we are pleased to inform that you have been accepted into Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry and you have been given a packing list for your school year." a packing list falls out from the envelope, Dixie continues to read the form "school starts July 19th and ends may 24th" Dixie says reading the last sentence "oh! So I won't see my aunt, uncle, and cousin for a whole year!" Dixie says in exciting tone. Uncle sam bursts into the room "come-" he stops in his tracks looking at the letter "what's this?" he says grabbing the letter "its mine!" Dixie said trying to get it back. "You don't get any letters" uncle Sam said laughing. He then reads the letter, after a few seconds his eyes widen "no this,  no it can't happen" he rips the letter apart. "no!" Dixie says "why do you have to be so cruel?!" she starts to cry. Uncle Sam goes back downstairs "come downstairs and make dinner" he yells. Dixie gets frustrated and yells back "no! I won't obey you anymore!", uncle Sam stomps back upstairs "you will obey if it's the last thing you'll do!" he sad angrily. Dixie looks up at him and runs downstairs "I wish I had a different family!!" she yelled. There was rumbling coming from the chimney and a few second later letters come flying out from it. Dixie grabs as many letters as she could seeing all the owls around her house. Uncle Sam looks at her and grabs her by the wrist and drags her upstairs and throws her in her room "you'll never come out of this room! You hear me?!" he locks the door. Dixie sits on her bed crying, she then hears a motorcycle but ignores it. She then sees light shining through her window, she walks over to her window to see a motorcycle flying in the air. A man opens her window "ello heard yer accepted into Hogwarts aye?" the strange dark man said "yes, yes sir" Dixie said shuddering. "Now don't be afraid lil miss I'm Hagrid, keeps of keys at Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry" Dixie stand there still a little scared. "So yer tryna get away from yer family aye?" Hagrid said "well their not really my family" Dixie said looking to the side "well then. Hop in we're going to diagon alley" he said sitting back getting ready to go. "Diagon alley?" Dixie said confused "well yes diagon alley don't ya know?" Hagrid said expecting her aunt and uncle to tell her "no, no sir I don't" Dixie said. "Well don't yer know yer parents?" hagrid said. "No, my aunt and uncle say they died in a car crash." Dixie said looking down. "CAR CRASH?! Yer parents didn't die in a car crash they died cause of yer know who" hagrid said Fecerliy. "Who's you know who?" Dixie said still confused. "I've said to much hop in!" hagrid grabs Dixie. Dixie sits down in the seat and hagrid tales off "hang on!" they take off into the sky.
