Hayes glances over at ruby as she gets up with the others and is dismissed to their dorms. the Gryffindors walk to their common room and laugh and talk, dixie hears a strange sound and stops. "I'll catch up to yall later. I think I forgot something back in the great hall." dixie says backing up a little, "I'll come with you then." ruby says walking to her. "me too" hayes says staying in his spot. "No guys really it's fine-" Dixie says then getting cut off by ruby, "well are you coming?" Ruby says slightly speed walking off but still looking back at them. Hayes smiles and follows ruby. Dixie then looks down "oh alright" she says then catching up with them, ruby and hayes smile. As the three of them head back to the great hall ruby asks, "so what exactly did you forget?" Ruby says looking over at Dixie. "Well I-" Dixie pauses hearing the noise again and stares off into the distance hearing the noise nonstop. Hayes and ruby look at her confused and worried at the same time. "Is, is everything alright Dixie?" Hayes says putting one hand on Dixie's shoulder. Dixie looks up forcing a smile on her face "yeah I'm fine! I actually just remembered the thing is I'm actually back at the dorm so we better head there or we'll get in trouble." Dixie says turning quickly. Ruby and Hayes look at each other and look at Dixie. "Dixie you can tell us what's going on" ruby says walking in front of her then turning facing her, "what's wrong?" Ruby says looking into Dixie's eyes knowing something's wrong. "Fine." Dixie says huffing, "I've been hearing weird noises and I can't tell if anyone else can hear them." She says. Hayes gasps "Dixie!" Hayes says in shock. "What!?" Dixie says concerned something's wrong. "It's not normal for someone to hear noises in the wizardry world." Hayes says worried. "Yeah Dixie you have to tell professor dumbledore immediately!" Ruby says.
