The Slytherin house cheers. "dixie granger!" she says as the whole room goes silent as they stare at dixie, dumbledor stands staring at dixie. dixie walks up to the stool concerned by the looks on everyone's faces. she sits down on the stool looking around the room as Professor McGonagall places the hat on her head. "hmmm... difficult, very difficult. plenty of courage, I see. not a bad mind, either. there's talent, oh yes, and a thirst to prove yourself. but where to put you?" the sorting hat says. "not Slytherin, not Slytherin." dixie says closing her eyes and whispering. "not Slytherin, eh? are you sure? you could be great you know. it's all here in your head. and Slytherin will help you on the way to greatness, there's no doubt about that. no? well if you're sure... better be Gryffindor!" dixies eyes light up as all of Gryffindor stands clapping and cheering. Dumbledore stands holding his hands up and the whole room goes silent. "Welcome to a new year at Hogwarts! Before we begin our banquet, I would like to say a few words. And here they are, Nitwit! Blubber!" he says and then sits back down "you may begin eating." he says as he lifts his goblet and drinks it. everyone begins eating as a ghost appears from the middle of the Gryffindor table. "Whoa!" ruby says startled a little, "wow!" ruby says surprised. "this is Sir Nicholas de mismy porpington. or as known as nearly headless nick," hayes said eating a little. "someone a know it all" ruby says giggling.
