“What?” Harold confused, “no.”

“Sorry,” the doctor said, “but, yes.”

Harold paid for the visit and left. He was on his way home. When he got home he came through the door and went straight to his room. “What’s wrong?” asked Karen.

“I-I-I, I have cancer,” he cried.

“Oh no,” she replied, “hey, we’re going to make it through this.”

Karen made Harold’s favorite food, hamburgers, for dinner. After that they went to bed. 

“Good morning,” Karen said tiredly.

“Good morning,” Harold yawned.

Karen went downstairs to make breakfast. She made waffles for breakfast, Harold’s favorite. *RING* Harold answered the ringing phone, it was Doctor Samuel. “Hello,” he started.

“Hi,” said the doctor, “I need you to come into the office today. You need to start your chemo.”

“Okay, see you soon,” Harold replied.
