“Harold!” Karen yelled, “Get up! Your food will get cold!” (Karen was Harold’s wife.) 

Harold got up and got dressed. “What are we eating?” he asked.

“Pancakes with blueberries on top,” Karen answered. 

They ate their food. “You better get going,” Karen said concerningly 

“Why?” Harold replied confused.

“You got a doctor’s appointment, remember?” she told him

“Well now I do,” said Harold in a tone that made Karen smirk. 

“Bye,” she said, “love you.”

“Bye,” Harold said as he was leaving, “love you too.”

At the doctor’s office. “Name?” asked the counter lady.

“Harold Miller,” he answered.

“Ok,” she replied, “doc should be here soon. Sit in the waiting room.”

Harold walked into the waiting room and sat down. About five minutes later. “Harold Miller?” said the nurse, “follow me.”

Harold followed the nurse into a room. “Doctor Samuel should be in here in a minute,” stated the nurse.

Two minutes later. Doctor Samuel walked in. “Hey,” the doctor said, “how are you doing?”

“Good,” Harold answered.

“We’re just going to some tests,” the doctor stated.

Harold just nodded. The doc took some tests then left the room. After a few minutes the doctor came in. “Uh, I got bad news,” he said sadly, “you have Cancer.”
