when learning how to draw somthing new, LOOK UP REFERENCES!!! this is very important, epsecially if you want to draw people or animal life, you want to get the atonomy right, which is difficult on the first try. you can watch a video regarding atonomy on a certain subject, and/ or look up the thing you're drawing, "atonomy" or "drawing refernce" when you see reference sheets, these are made by other artists  that have simplified a subject to specific shapes. practice drawing the shapes, and parts in different positions, don't try a big project on the first go. practice rough sketching! Practicing only works if you practice the right way.
