For beginning artists, here is a list of things you should start out with!

Sketchbook- multimedia ( these will have thicker paper, to withstand ink or pencil) 

if you can't get a sketchbook, just use what you have, like printer paper

regular 2b pencil/ and or mechanical pencils

sone sort of pens you have around or microns 

anything with color, color pencils, colored ink, markers, whatever you want!
