Chapter 12
We decided to see the movie The Gray Man. We both really wanted to see Bullet Train but it was to long. Y he movie was saw though was good too. Plus it had Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans. Two of my favorite actors. When it’s over it’s exactly 2:36. We exited the theater and got back into my car. “I’ll drop you off at your house first and then I’ll meet you at the party.” Zach says to me. “Okay, remember be there at eight, no later.” I tell him, we plan to walk in there and sneak a few drinks, then leave without being noticed or beaten up. It’s a high school party, there is always alcohol, especially at the popular kids parties. “Yep, I’ll remember,” he says, pulling out onto the street. It’s about 2:50 when he pulls up to my house. “Do you mind driving me to school tomorrow, I just realized my car is still at school,” I say, embarrassed. “For sure, I forgot about that,” he says running hand hands through his hair. “Well I’ll see you tonight then, thanks,” I say, giving him a smile. He smiles back at me, and nods. I watch him drive off and then I head into my house. Empty again. I find a note on the table, gone for another business trip. At least I don’t need permission for the party. I take a shower, then pull on a t-shirt and jacket and
the same jeans I had on earlier. I have a snack and then turn on a football game. It’s half time of the Detroit Lions and the Green Bay Packers game, there is a clear winner. And Packers already lead 21-3. I cook a pizza in the oven and then get two slices, then stick the rest in the fridge. I sit down just had half time is ending.
