Zach Prentiss

Hello, my name is Zach Prentiss. I am 16 years old, born in July and in 10th grade. I have medium colored brown hair and it’s short. I am around 5’9 and I am gay, surprise. I’ve known ever since 7th grade, so about 3 years. I’m not your typical gay stereotype, I don’t “act gay” or “dress gay” or anything like that. To the blind eye I’m just your regular straight boy. But yes, I am gay. I am a Junior at SouthEast Colorado High School. My parents are in the steps of getting a divorce. I cant help but feeling responsible for it, I came out to them last year and told them I was gay. My mom fully accepted it, but my dad didn’t. My sister, a senior, has known the entire time. She has helped me a lot. I also have a brother that’s two years older than Claire, he knows and supports me to, but he’s never really around, busy with college. I have known for a while now, but only kissed a few boys, never anyone from my school, and none of them lasted. I have two friends, I am out to both of them. Let me introduce them to you. Hunter Juniper, straight, darker skin, short black hair and is tall, his girlfriend is Cathy Muller, short, black hair, I’m convinced she is dead inside but Hunter denies it. And my other friend is Ester Clemson, straight, she has medium blonde brown hair, with pale skin, and round, gold rimmed glasses, she is in the band and plays clarinet. Her boyfriend is the cello player, Peter Ferkenson, dark brown hair, and just a inch or two taller than she is. I know Hunter and Ester both have a thing for each other, but they think it will ruin our friend group so they went as far as getting boy and girl friends to deny there feelings. They both are supporting, ever since I came out the them a few years ago. I’ve played a few sports, but I finally narrowed my options to Hockey. I am a center, and I love it. They’re are no people from my school on my team, just random kids from all over town. I came out to them to about two years ago, since they all go to different schools, they are perfectly fine with it. Our team is decent, and my coach thinks he could get me and a few other guys a scholarship. My two friends don’t play sports. Esther is the best at every thing grade related. She is the smartest out of the entire school if you ask me. And Hunter is British, he came to Cherry Creek, Colorado from London when he was 3, with his mom and little brother. He loves the robotics team, and won state last year, he is smart when it comes to technology, math and science, but reading and english are his worst classes. I manage to get As and Bs, for my report cards. So that’s pretty much sums up my life right now. I better get to Math before I get a tardy and I have after school detention on the first day of school.
