Lesson Six: Seven Planetary Aspects Study Guide

Chapter 7

Alchemists connected the classical planets to metals, deities, & attributes. In 2500 B.C.E., Sarus Ignus thought that the aspects will aid him in discovering Panacea. The two parts of a transitional phase is aditus & barathri.

Venus & Mars ⊱ Venus can transition smoothly, easily, & is very stable. Mars is considered the Red Planet. It can transition with backfires & can be explosive. Venus & Mars both have a Transitional Period of one day.

Mercury & Jupiter ⊱ Mercury transitions when closest to the Earth & represents motivation. Jupiter transitions the longest & never fails due to the representation of being powerful. Mercury's Transitional Period is six days & Jupiter's Transitional Period is thirty-one days.

Moon & Saturn ⊱ The Moon transitions like a rebirth & it represents youth. It can prolong life & is the most popular transitional body. Saturn transitions with wisdom & longevity. The Moon & Saturn both have a Transitional Period of eleven days.

The Sun ⊱ The Sun's transition is limitless & chaos will ensue if one wanted its transitional power.
