Kanada & Dxou Yen
Kanada was born in Gujarat, India around 600 B.C.E. in the time of the Vedic Period. Ulka was his father's name. Kanada researched Rasavadam & accepted Aether as a fifth aspect. He discovered how atoms work while breaking up food into tiny crumbs. Dzou Yen was born in 305 B.C.E. & died in 240 B.C.E. in China. He lived in the time period of the Zhou Dynasty in Qi. Dzou Yen was the first alchemist to alter base metals into noble metals. Liu Hsiang tried to follow Yen's footsteps to turn lead into gold but with no such luck. He was impeached from being an imperial adviser of the court, imprisoned, & was convicted to death. However, the Emperor Xuan let him go.
Zosimos of Panopolis & Nicolas Flamel
Zosimos was born in Panopolis (Akhmim), Egypt in 300 C.E. He wrote the oldest alchemical books & they have been translated into the Syriac, Greek, & Arabic languages. Zosimos had visions of the god Ion, where self-sacrifice was made, with methods of being boiled alive or being mutilated. As a result, a homunculus would arise. Carl Jung believes this was the first theory of homunculus. In 1327 near Paris, France, Nicolas Flamel was born & was taught at Beauxbatons. In 1368, he married Perenelle Delamere. Together, they invented the Philosopher's Stone. Flamel aided in creating Medieval alchemy ethics & wrote books. In 1991, Voldemort tried, but failed, to obtain the stone & both Albus Dumbledore & Nicolas Flamel agreed to destroy it.
Paracelsus
Paracelsus was born in 1493 & was significant in the Renaissance era. He is a descendant of Salazar Slytherin. Due to degrading previous physicians, his writings were banned in Nurmberg, Germany. Paracelsus invented Parseltongue as his ancestor kept the language a secret. He also renamed an element; zinc, & created the Alphabet of the Magi. He invented laudanum & was the first to theorize the unconscious. Paracelsus also wrote the Harmony of Elements & Organs.
