"For once, I am actually not excited for Defence Against the Dark Arts." Dylan said the next day, as we were walking to the classroom.     
"I know." Melody replied.   
When we got in the classroom, Lockhart started giving out scrolls.    
"What are we going to do with these?" I whispered to Leona.  
"Not sure." She answered, pulling out her brown quill.    
"I would like to introduce you," Lockhart began, when everyone had stopped talking. "To your Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor. Me, Professor Lockhart."   
Everyone rolled their eyes.  
"I would like to start of with a quick test to test your knowledge."   
"At least he has some sense." I heard Dylan whisper to Melody.   
"Because you have bought in all seven of my set books, I trust that you have read them all thoroughly."  
"OK, forget I said that."   
"I will give you thirty minutes to complete the little test. Starting... now."   
"Little test?" Leona whispered. Two minutes had gone and everybody was still unrolling the parchment. "Little test?"   
"Um, read the questions." I murmured.  
"I know! There's fifty five of them!"  
"No, actually read them."  
"They're-"    
"All about him!" We said together.   
"Please stop talking." He ordered loudly. "You only have twenty-five minutes left. How do you expect to prove your knowledge if you are distracted?"   
I answered the questions with the most likely answer but I skipped question four, which was 'What would Gilderoy Lockhart like to be?'   
"Your time is now up." He said at the end. "You can now read a copy of one my books while I mark everybody's tests."   
"I piled the seven books in front of me to hide what I was doing, and started reading Fantastic Beasts instead. Leona saw what I was doing, and pulled out A Beginners Guide to Transfiguration.
"Right everyone, I am now going to return your papers." Lockhart said half an hour later. I stuffed my book into my bag and opened the third chapter of Voyages with Vampires as if I had been reading it that whole time.    
"I only got three out of fifty five." Leona said after the lesson.  
"I got two." I laughed.   
"I got two as well." Dylan said.    
"I got five." Melody laughed. "I don't know how. I put the worst answer ever for question four."   
"What class is next?" I asked.  
Leona, who carried our joint timetable, got it out her bag. "Potions."
