"Trust me." Melody groaned on the first morning back at school. "I feel ill."  
"Is it because you're a Seer?" Asked Leona. "Being a Seer is nothing to be ashamed of! I'd love to be a Seer."   
"Come on!" I called from just outside. "You'll miss double Herbology."   
"Your favourite lesson." Dylan added.   
"No, no." She said. "I really do... I had an awful dream... think it might be real."   
She gazed off into the distance until she snapped back to attention. "There is definitely going to be a war."    
"Melody, come on."   
"No."  
"OK fine. We'll say you're ill." Dylan sighed.  
"Our first lesson is Defence Against the Dark Arts." Leona said at breakfast. "How're we going to do that without Lockhart?"  
"Not sure." I said.   
We walked to the Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom. It seemed we were the first there.  
"Prepare." A female's voice said.  
"It that our new Defence teacher?" Whispered Dylan.  
"She doesn't seem very nice." I sighed.  
"I said PREPARE!" Barked the voice.   
"Sorry Professor." We murmured, sitting down. 
"Professor?" She cried. "I'm not your Professor. Your old one wiped his own mind! I'll take advantage of that!"    
"Will you ki-" Started Leona.   
"I'm not going to kill you." She whispered. "But I need you to prepare. You got my husband in pris-"   
"Can you come to Transfiguration?" Asked McGonagall, entering the room. "Oh. Vanessa."  
"APPARATE!" There was a blinding light before the woman was gone.   
"Melody!" We rushed into the dorm as soon as it was break.  
"Hi."    
We told her all about the woman called Vanessa but she didn't look surprised. Then she took a strangely long, deep breath.  
"The thing is." She sighed. "The thing is I've known this all along."
