My name is Lily and I am six years old. I was on a very long walk with my family.                                                                                    
"I'm really thirsty, I'll get my drink." I said and I pulled off my bright blue backpack. "Oh!"                                                            
"What?" My Mum asked, looking worried.    
"Oh, it's nothing, I just forgot my drink." I mumbled, pulling my bag back on."  
"There's only about half an hour left, anyway." My brother, Barnaby, reassured.      
Only half an hour? We'd been walking for two hours already, don't they know I'm only six? But suddenly, I heard a pop and my bag suddenly felt heavier.     
"Hey!" I gasped. "It is in here! Wha- how?"    
"You probably couldn't see it when you took it off before." Barnaby said, but he grinned at our parents and I knew something wasn't right.    
"No! I swear! It wasn't in here, I heard this strange popping sound and my bag felt heavier!" I argued. "Water bottle heavier." I added.     
"Lily." My Dad said seriously. "You are a- you are a pure-blood witch."     
"WITCH!" I shouted, torn between excitement and anger. "WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME, YOU KEPT A SECRET FROM ME FOR SIX WHOLE YEARS!"     
"Keep your voice down." My Mum begged. "We can't let the Muggles hear."     
"What's a-"     
"A non-magical person." My Dad explained. "But please, don't be mad, let me explain. Your mum and I were a witch and a wizard. Then Barnaby was born and he started to show magical power when he was four. We thought you wouldn't be a witch. They're called Squibs."     
"What's called Squibs?" I asked curiously.    
"We'll tell you lots of things on the rest of the walk." Barnaby told me. "But the important thing is, you're a witch and one day, you can attend Hogwarts School in Scotland!"     
Magical Schools? Witchcraft? Muggles? Hogwarts? After that day, I began to read lots about wizarding. I decided I loved magical creatures and my parents bought me a Crup. His name is Swift.
