Vincent Crabbe and his heartache

Vincent Crabbe happened to like Millicent Bulstrode. In his eyes, she was just perfect. It happened in the common room - the time that Vincent would never forget. He was sitting with his seven friends and enjoying himself.
“Does anyone know the answer to this Ancient Rune question?”Blaise groaned heavily over a pile of parchment.
“I do,” Pansy spoke up, “Here’s a clue: It’s something you need to solve yourself.”Her cutting remarks were usual and everyone cracked up at that reply. Baise looked bemused and muttering darkly, he scribbled something down and shoved it aside. Meanwhile, Vincent looked thoughtful.
“Hey Millicent! Want to go to the common room together - I prepared some sweets and stuff.” He said boldly enough, but his insides felt numb. Pansy arched one of her penciled eyebrows, Draco, Zabini and Crabbe exchanged smirks while the two sisters doubled up with silent laughter. Millicent however, just grinned.
“Of course. Come on Vincent.” She said, her slim figure rising and slipping her hand through Vincent’s, they both marched to the common room’s side chamber and settled down together while swapping stories and gossip.
“I’m off to bed. Simply tired.” Came Astoria’s delicate voice through the darkness. At once, Blaise stode to help her up and they both went to their dorms. They didn’t know that Pansy was almost shrieking with laughing mirth and Gregory, Draco and Daphne were shaking their heads and wearing amused expressions. Oh, all was merry all right.

—Next Morning–

“Vincent?”Millicent said as they stood in the early morning in the Library. They thought that it was the best place to hang out privately and do something useful. Last night, Millicent confessed to Vincent.
“I am horrible at Charms and all first-years are meant to know how to do the levitation charm. I simply can’t!” She cried. Vincent, who was much bad at Charms himself, offered to help. While Millicent was to help him with his Transfiguration work which was far beyond standard and poor Vincent had to suffer under Professor Mcgonagall’s beady eye.
“Wingardium Leviosa!” Millicent panted, pointing her wand at a book. It didn’t even move.
“Wingardium Leviosa!” She cried again and only crumpled into a chair and flung her wand on the table. Vincent calmed her down and showed with his own wand.
“Wingardium Leviosa.” Vincent said and a book went up again. Hurriedly, Millicent represented her Slytherin skills and tried again.
“Wingardium Leviosa!” It happened. The book was in the air for a minute but dropped as Millicent was too surprised to think that she had done it!
“I can finally do it! Oh, thank you Vincent, thank you. You truly are the nicest boy I know.” They both flushed at her words and leant forward to embrace. It was only when Madam Pince came through the books and got ready for a lecture, but no words could come out as she stared at the two young people.

From that day on, Millicent and Vincent were girlfriend and boyfriend. These eight Slyterins were all paired and enjoying their time at Hogwarts so far.
“What is the answer to this Ancient Rune question?” Suddenly a voice came.
