Chapter 2
- a compound is formed by two or more atoms
- formula for water is H2O
- formula for methane is CH4
- a solution is a mixture
- A mixture can either be considered heterogeneous or homogeneous
- heterogeneous means, when you can see different parts of the mixture
- homogeneous means, you can not visibly see parts of the mixture
- a potion is a mixture of compounds
- four states of matter , solid, liquid, gas and plasma
