She had forgotten. Amelia had forgotten her mother. How evil had she become. How Draco had made her evil. How she didn’t listen to her friends. But she set that aside.

‘I remember my mother, Dumbledore, said that when you want to help, even if it is for the worst reason, you help.’

‘And your mother is right… You listened, but-’

There was a loud bang! Excited voices were coming closer as the door banged open, revealing and cackling Bellatix, a beetle eyed Alecto and Amycus Carrow and Fenrir Greyback, who was chewing on a bloody bone. 

‘Well done, Draco and Amelia! You’ve disarmed Dumbledore!’ Bellatrix said as she approached the two of them. 

‘Ah, Dumby is now weak,’ Fenrir said through gritted teeth, which were rotten and yellow.

‘Yes, yes! He has no wand!’ shrieked Amycus Carrow, grinning terribly.

‘Ah… Welcome, welcome,’ said Dumbledore to the Death Eaters calmly, smiling.

‘Pathetic! You think this is some sort of tea party? Draco is standing there, about to kill you!’ Alecto asked.

‘I am not quite imagining that,’ Dumbledore said as though he were talking to a dear friend. ‘And I do not think Mr. Malfoy will kill me, I am much more powerful than a teenager.’

The Death Eaters screamed with laughter and Amycus was howling. Amelia and Draco looked tense. They were breathing heavily.

‘Do it Draco! Kill Dumbledore!’ Bellatrix said, whispering. 

But Draco was shaking badly and his wand was lowered slightly, it was hanging loosely from his hand. 

There were loud voices coming from the door. The door barged open and Isabell was there, panting.

‘What-what is-’ but before she could complete her sentence, the door opened again to show…

‘Snape!’ said Alecto, grinning wickedly. ‘How happy we are to see you here!’

But Snape ignored her, he approached Dumbledore and looked him in the eye.

‘Severus… Please…’ Dumbledore pleaded for the first time. ‘Please…’

Snape ignored him and got out his wand. Draco, Amelia and Isabell stared, wide-eyed.

‘AVADA KEDAVRA!’

Five seconds later, all Isabell and Amelia could see was Dumbledore falling… falling… falling out of the Astronomy tower window. He was weak, and fell… Snape, one of the least people they had expected to kill Dumbledore. Snape. Killed Dumbledore. Snape. Now Dumbledore, the source of safety at Hogwarts, has fallen… fallen... from the highest tower at Hogwarts.
