(Still Mattheo’s pov) 

I was confused to say the least. How did Y/n not remember anything she just did. Before I could think much about it she fainted. I caught her right before she hit the ground. Theodore saw and came over “What happened” He asked 

“I have no clue” I replied “After Thomas left something happened and she doesn't remember anything from after she left the dorm” 

I called Thomas in my head to come help me. I had no clue what was going on and I couldn't carry her back to the dorm and I think It would just look weird if me and Theodore did it together. When Thomas arrived I explained what I knew and he nodded his head. 

“It could be some side effects or something from the cruciatus curse” He suggested 

  I shrugged “It could be, you would know better than me” 

“So how do you fix it?” Theodore asked

“You can’t but the effect will probably wear off eventually” Thomas explained 

“How long?” I asked 

“Anywhere from a few days to a few years. I would guess for Y/n it would take a couple weeks to a mouth” 

“What about school? It's back on now, right? She would need to go to classes” Theodore questioned

“Since most of the school year has been somewhat canceled, the rest of the year will be too but there will be classes for anyone who wants them but everyone will have to repeat their year unless you want to take a test to see if you can go up to the next grade the next year or graduate. Y/n has already learned all the first year stuff so she should be able to pass the test at the end of the year and the effects should be gone by the end of the year” 

“Will Y/n still be able to stay in our dorm next year?” I asked, I liked seeing her everyday. 

“I don’t know. She’s a Ravenclaw not a Slytherin” Thomas replied

“She’s a Ravenin, she was a hatstall, she could and does fit in with both houses some-what equally” I countered 

“But the hat put her in Ravenclaw” 

“She seems more of a Slytherin or a Slytherclaw to me” I replied 

“What are you guys fighting about” Y/n asked sitting up

“Nothing” Thomas and I say simultaneously and Y/n rolls her eyes and sighs.

“And why are you all staring at me, your invading my personal space” 

“You fainted” I explained 

“Oh great. So that’s what it takes to get everyone’s attention” 

I smiled a bit “Come on let's go get some dinner” 

“I feel like I haven't eaten for a month, I am so hungry” 

I got up and she followed “You coming” I asked Thomas and Theodore 

“I will meet you there, I want to talk to Theodore for a minute” Thomas explained 

I nodded my head and Y/n and I started walking to the Great Hall. Halfway there Y/n stopped “Can I ask you 2 questions?” She asked 

“You already asked one” I smiled 

“Can I hold your hand?” 

“Do you have a crush on me? I’m your brother” 

“No, I don’t have a crush on you. Can’t a sister hold her brother's hand?” 

I sigh “Sure” 

She grabs my hand and we continue walking. When we arrive at the Great Hall he drops my hand and we walk over to the slytherin table and sit down. I turn to face Y/n “So Christmas is in a couple days, I already got your gift” 

She smiles “I can’t wait for christmas, I know what I am getting you and Thomas” 

“What?”

“I’m not going to ruin the surprise and don’t try to read my mind” 

“Fine” I sighed 

(Y/n’s pov) 

Mattheo and I started eating and Thomas and Theodore came in a couple of minutes later. I asked them what they were talking about but they didn’t answer. After dinner we all headed back to the common room together and went to bed. 

The next morning I got up early and went to Hogsmeade. I knew I wasn’t a third year yet and you had to go at specific times but I didn’t care. I went to the shop and greeted the owner who I knew “What are you doing here on this fine morning” He asked, his voice was gruff and he was older but I had known him for long enuff and he was nice.

“I want to get my brothers gifts for Christmas, just don’t tell them if they come around” 

“Your secret is safe with me. What are you thinking about getting them?” 

I told him what I wanted and he wrote it down “Thank you” I finished 

“No problem, anything else?” I told him one more thing. He smiled and wrote it down “You can pick them up tomorrow, Lovely seeing you again Y/n” 

“And you” I left and stopped at one more place before I made my way back to Hogwarts and to the Slytherin common room. Thomas was on the couch, he looked up when I entered.

“Where have you been?” 

“I went out shopping, bought myself some new clothing and jewelry” He nodded his head suspiciously “Breakfast?” I asked, changing the subject.

“Sure, Mattheo and Theodore are already down there, I was waiting for you” 

“Great, I’m going to go put the bags in the dorm and change then I will be back down” I ran up the stairs and to my dorm then folded the clothes and put them away. I put on new emerald earrings, I loved emeralds, then put the rest of the jewlery away. I changed into a black mock turtleneck and camo sweatpants, put on one of my old, favorite necklaces that had a silver snake with emerald eyes, then I headed back down to the common room, fixing my hair into a high ponytail as I went. “I’m ready” I told Thomas as I passed him on the couch. He got up and fell into step next to me as we made our way down to breakfast.
