I held my wand out in front of me and blocked the spells coming at me. I didn’t understand how they couldn't resist the curse, I had done it once before. I waved my wand and disarmed them both then I turned and ran to the Slytherin common room. When I got to the door I stopped and caught my breath for a second before saying the password and going in. I would have thought no one would be there but Olivia and some people in Thomas’ year as well as some 7th years. One of Thomas' friends recognized me from earlier and came over to me.

“I saw you leave dinner with Thomas, where is he?” He pulled out his wand and pointed it at me. I rolled my eyes and sent the wand flying 

“Will everyone just stop ponting their wands at me?” I put my hands up “Let me explain before you do something you will regret later, my brothers were put under the imperius curse by the person who has been killing all the students, I was trying to get away from them, I wouldn't kill my own brothers if that's what your thinking” I explained so everyone could hear

He stared at me astonished. One of the 7th years came up to me, “Do you need help with anything? Do you have a plan?” 

“If we can get Thomas back then we can get Mattheo back. I can try to get to Thomas but I need someone else or a group of people distracting Mattheo” 

“You're going to do it alone?” He asked 

“Are you offering to help with Thomas?” I asked

“I can help you and how about 3 other 7th years, the rest will distract Mattheo” 

“Two other 7th years, only two, besides Thomas had resisted the imperius curse before, it should be easier to get him out of it, Mattheo will be harder so that's why I need Thomas” I explained. He called two other 7th years and I explained my plan to all of them. They nodded then went to do what I had told them to. I went up to the dorm I shared with them and waited. 

A few minutes later Thomas came in the door closed behind him and locked. He had no wand, it had been taken from him right as he came in the door. 

He smiled “You really are smart Y/n” 

One of the 7th years appeared at my side, he had been invisible. Thomas eyed him “What is he going to do, protect you?” He moked. I really hated Thomas right now but I knew he wasn’t himself. This was probably one of my least favorite parts of the plan but it was the only way that I could come up with. I grabbed the boy's hand and waved my hand then Thomas fell to the floor. I let go of the hand and slowly walked towards Thomas then I crouched down and grabbed his hand. Thomas I asked him through my mind. It's just the imperius curse, you can fight it, you have done it before. I could still sense that he was under the curse but he opened his eyes, they looked like they wanted to kill me. I got up and he followed, I realized there was only one way I could get to him. I gave him my wand and he pointed it at me.

“Kill me” I said “That's what you want, right?” a minute passed with no reply I grabbed a dagger and put a cut in my arm, it started bleeding. I never liked blood, it gave me headaches, it made me faint. I felt myself starting to feel dizzy and stumbled backwards. Then I saw it, Thomas’s eyes, his face switched and he came towards me as I fell and caught me. “Get Mattheo” was all I could say before my head started hurting and then all I saw was blackness. 

I woke up in my bed. Thomas was sitting on his a Mattheo was sitting next to him, he was the first to notice my eyes were open. “Y/n” He asked “Are you ok” Thomas and Mattheo came to stand by my bed. I looked at my arm to see that it was bandaged up.

“I’m fine” I replied “How about you?” I asked weakly

“We are fine because of you” Thomas answered “How did you know that what you did would work?”

“I’m a Ravenclaw and a Slytherin. Plus I had help from some 7th years, I knew the puzzle pisces would all fit together” 

“Was hurting yourself part of the original plan? “ He asked 

“No, but I knew it would help” I replied honestly “How long have I been asleep?” 

“Two days” Mattheo answered “And two more people have died, both Hufflepuffs, fourth years, a boy and a girl”
