‘Oh, hello Professor Snape, I just got pushed by Olivia Dragonheart, surely you know her sir?’ Draco said weakly. The girls knew he was faking his “weakened” quiet voice.

‘Of course,’ Snape’s lips curled.

‘He was being-’ Amelia began. 

‘Stop, Ms. Clearwater. Just because you broke the tradition, it doesn’t mean that you could interrupt!’ he said angrily.

Amelia cleared her throat, looking embarrassed. 

‘Sorry… sir.’

‘Sir, he called Isabell Bluesky’s mother a mudblood,’ Olivia twitched when she said the last word.

‘Oh did he? Well, one point from Slytherin.’

‘WHAT? He deserves more than minus one point! HE DESERVES A DETEN-’ 

‘Don’t you yell at me Ms. Dragonheart,’ Snape said angrily. ‘Five points from Ravenclaw for yelling at me and another fifteen points from Ravenclaw for pushing Mr. Malfoy.’ 

He strode off to the dungeons.

‘I have reasons for hating Snape now,’ muttered Olivia.

‘Nobody even received points yet!’ Amelia moaned.

‘We have minus twenty points now,’ muttered Isabell.

‘Guess you have been listening the whole time, have you?’ Olivia looked at Isabell with full dislike. 

‘Yeah I have,’ she mumbled apologetically.

‘Well that’s called being nosy, why did I even stand up for-’

‘STOP! Can’t we just make up?’ Amelia interrupted.

Amelia was thinking about the scene she saw. Isabell crying, her mother dead. She felt sympathy.

‘I have no clue why my stupid mind decided to stand up fo-

‘If I’m not friends with her, I’m not friends with you,’ said Amelia angrily.

‘Well, why make it a big deal?’ said a shocked Olivia.

‘I will only be your friend if you are friends with Isabell,’ said Amelia simply. ‘That way we can all be friends and it’ll be fair. Or at least I won’t feel guilty.’
