Chapter 15
The three girls who had so much in common met each other. Who knew?
‘Thanks,’ smiled Isabell. ‘I’m Isabell Bluesky, who’re you?’
‘Amelia Clearwater, but no time to chat!’ Amelia rapidly.
‘Oh no! Two minutes left, Amelia! Come on! And nice to meet you, Isabell, I’m Olivia Dragonheart!’ cried Olivia.
The three of them rushed to the train, and found an abandoned compartment.
‘Quick, in here, before someone takes it,’ Amelia muttered hurriedly.
They all sat comfortably together as their pets were put in a corner, and Twilight tried to break open the cages of Bianca and Mocha.
‘Oi! You naughty cat!’ cried Olivia as she put Twilight on her lap.
Twilight hissed but then purred when Olivia stroked her.
There was a moment of silence for a while. For ten minutes or an hour, they never knew how long silence ruled over the surrounding.
‘Um… hello,’ said Isabell awkwardly.
Amelia and Olivia looked at each other then looked at the door of the compartment.
‘Um… I said hello,’ repeated Isabell, who looked awkward and sad because of being ignored.
She made to leave the compartment when suddenly the compartment door opened and three boys came in.
‘Well, hello,’ smirked the blonde boy in the middle.
Amelia frowned as soon as he started talking.
‘If it isn’t Olivia Dragonheart,’ he continued, examining Olivia.
‘What do you want?’ said Olivia, looking aggressive. ‘I don’t think it’s your business, coming into other people’s compartments, whoever you are.’
The boy ignored her. He had platinum blonde hair and his friends, more like bodyguards, were huge.
Amelia already knew the blonde boy because her parents were friends with his parents.
‘I am Draco Malfoy, a pureblood,’ he said. ‘Are any of your friends… mudbloods?’ the boy asked Amelia.
Amelia didn’t reply and continued frowning and looked as though she was going to push him out of the compartment. But Isabell had already beaten her to it.
‘And what if we are? What can you do about it? You stupid, mean-’ Isabell began, yelling as she started to push the boys out.
‘Who do you think you are, some kind of celebrity?’ interrupted Draco sarcastically, flicking his wand at Isabell so she floated in mid-air for a while.
She looked shocked.
‘WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?’ yelled Olivia.
‘Of course a witch with a brain like an ant won’t know a simple spell such as: WINGARDIUM-’
Olivia surprisingly grabbed Draco’s wand in such force that she had time to push Draco with her other hand and pin him to the window.
‘You better not mess with me, Malfoy, a pure-blood,’ Olivia mocked. ‘I’m warning you.’
She stared at Draco in a terrifying way as she threw his wand on the floor. She aimed for Draco’s face, making him shrink, his grey eyes trying not to look at the emerald green ones.
‘No!’ Amelia jinxed Olivia in fear, which made Olivia jump away from Draco. ‘DON’T YOU DARE-’
But Amelia stopped talking, for Olivia was staring with wide terrified green eyes and her feet were barely touching the cold floor. She was petrified.
‘No… no… wh-what did I do?’
Isabell was glaring at Amelia, who was almost on the verge of tears.
‘You killed your friend,’ Draco raised his eyebrows and grinned. ‘I suppose I must thank you. But apart from that, you really do have some skills, Amelia Clearwater.’
He walked away from the compartment, his ‘bodyguards’ following him. Amelia took her wand with her shaking hands and made Olivia float in a sleeping position. She rushed out of the compartment, leaving Isabell alone and shocked. Several people in compartments looked out of their window, surprised by the scene.
‘How is she going to reverse this?’ Isabell mumbled to herself.
‘I-is there a t-teacher h-here?’ Amelia yelled helplessly, hoping an adult would be on the train.
‘Yes.’
