Crups - XXX

The Crup is a Wizarding dog which resembles a Jack Russell terrier except for its extra tail. These dog-like creatures must be kept in fully-magical households as they get crazy and fierce around Muggles. Wizards and Witches who would like to own a Crup must get a licence from the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. They can get it by completing a test to check that the person can control their Crup around Muggles. One of the Crup's tails must be removed with a painless Severing Spell when they are around seven weeks old to avoid the suspicion of Muggles. They are unbelievable scavengers, like Puffskeins, who will eat anything they can find.
