Broom-Care Supplies

Chapter 5

Here are some must-haves when caring for a broom to keep it in a clean, up-to-date standard.

If you're broom is looking a little worn on the body, I would highly suggest getting some of the latest of Fleetwood's High Finish Polish Cleaning Supply, which is avaliable in Britain, America and Africa. This is one of the top priorities, as if it is too worn, then it could get very uncomfortable on long journeys, and make the seat a little itchy.

The second thing is the Top Tail-Brush Tweezers, which is avaliable in pretty much every country. It is good to file down the tail twigs, because letting them grow too much can result in having a drag on the back of the broom, and an uneven weight. This is why it is a top priority, so head into your local broomstick supplier, and get those tweezers ASAP!

These items are not a necessity, but I find it very helpful and useful when I use them:

If you take your broomstick into a special broomstick dealer, then they can do what is called Pluckening. This is just a fancy way of saying that they will take some of the outside wood away, and make the broomstick lighter. Without all the weight, you can find your broomstick can move with more ease and speed, and make it much more fun!

The second item that makes your journey more helpful is just a clip-on compass. This is espicially helpful for long journeys, and makes you more reassured and relaxed that you are not lost, because you can always look at the compass for guide! I definitely recommend these if you have a Comet broom, because of the nice gluey surface that makes the compass stick on it.

These are all a list of things that I personally will enhance your experience, and make it much better!
