Hogwarts one shots? Two shots?? Tree shots???:D
This is just a collection of short stories following a group of 3 Hogwarts students all from different houses (Slytherin, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw) who go through their lives as normal until they're not. or some slice of life, some coziness, some angst, you know the drill or "man, my friend is evil :0" Also, the characters of Mari and Eden (Night) do not belong to me but instead to Maria Mulberry and Edeline Hamilton respectively :3 (Also yes, these are all characters in this book, not real people or anything).

Train
Chapter 1
The train moved, with it, everyone on it. The train was old, but it didn't need a cane, no, it was holding up better than some of the kids on it, many of whom were desperately looking for that one thing they definitely remembered to take with them, but just couldn't seem to find now.
Seta walked through the softly shaking corridors, looking for an empty cabin to stay in. She shouldn't have brought so many things, now that she though about it it was quite stupid of her, the bags constantly fell off the suitcase and threw her balance off more than was necessary.
She should have thought clearer before, but she knew she couldn't, even just the thought of the fact that she was actually accepted into a magical school was exhilarating, she still couldn't quite believe it.
Finally, after a couple of minutes of suffering with the ungodly amount of bags in an unreasonably tight corridor, there seemed to be an empty spot. What a lucky day! Nobody was there! A room all to herself, it was too good to be true.
(Although she guessed going to Hogwarts was too good to be true in the first place)
Nevertheless, the bags found their way into their holders under the heavy seats, and Seta sat down to look out of the window.
What a beautiful day it was.
Grey clouds were brushed across the sky, light strokes of mist that softened the bright blue. Low sun colored the rest of the sky orange and pink, everything was pastel. The girl looked further to the forest in front of them, she could see the streaks of darker grey trailing from the clouds above. It must be raining there.
She wished she could reach there, touch the water, breathe in the smell of wet grass and soil.
Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of an argument outside.
"Filthy Mudblood! Move or I'll make you. Gosh, your parents really didn't teach you respect." a voice yelled in a british accent.
"I'm not a- " a yelp, "Sorry, I'm..." the American one couldn't finish the sentence.
"Shut up and move out of the way." The British one sounded annoyed.
There was a timid knock on the door and a girl with long brown hair with pink tips neatly put in a ponytail. She looked almost scared as she hastily closed the door.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to intrude. I'll leave-"
"Mari! Hi. What happened out there? Why are you here in the first place? You never told me you got accepted, I'm so glad you're here!" Mari looked overwhelmed.
"I- Yeah, I'm here, I didn't want to tell you cuz, uh, I thought you would be upset because you don't get to go. But look at this, looks like we're both here." She smiled.
"Oh. I'm... thank you, that's actually very thoughtful of you, I'm sorry I made you feel like you had to hide it though."
"It's okay, I get how it feels to feel like you're missing out on something" Mari smiled again. Seta smiled back, then she realized how rude she was acting.
"Sit down bro," Seta pointed to the seat next to hers "do you want a cookie? I baked them for the journey but I have waaaaay too many."
"Sure, thanks. Your baking always holds a sweet spot in my heart." Mari giggled.
As much as Seta wanted this sweet moment to last forever, her curiosity was greater.
"Hey, so, who was that prick out in the hallway? I'll punch their butt if they hurt you." Seta was determined to do just that at the nearest opportunity.
"Oh... That was Edeline. They're a year one as well. Their whole family went to Slytherin, so you know. They also hate anyone who's not a pureblood, but that's not too surprising honestly. They like to bother everyone so at least it's not like a targeted thing." Mari smiled but this time it was a sad smile.
If Seta wanted to punch that prick before, now she really wanted to show them the strength of muggleborns.
"Mari, I'm gonna punch that prick when I see them, especially if they keep picking on you."
"Please don't fight them, it will just make things worse, you'll get sucked into it too, I don't want that."
"I do not care, Mari! We're not having anyone picking on you your first day or any other day." Seta stated with resolve, then mumbled: "How'd they even know, they keep notes on people or something? What a creep." Despite the fact that it was a mumble, Mari seemed to hear because she softly responded.
"I told them. About my parents being muggles I mean." Seta stared at her in disbelief.
"Why in the world would you do that? I mean, you know how people take to us and that kid doesn't look like someone I'd trust."
"Well, they are nice at first. Or well, they were fine. Maybe a little rude but they seemed fine, I talked to them the whole way to the train, and then we started talking about our parents and I told them that I didn't know anything about magic before the letter because my parents are both muggles but they were cool about it and let me go to Hogwarts. Edeline immediately lashed out at me saying that I was tricking them and things like that and then, well, you know what happened after." Mari had that sad smile on again, while Seta couldn't decide whether to feel sorry or furious. She settled on both.
"Mari, people like them don't deserve to be your friends, trust me. You're just as strong, no, you're stronger than them!" With that, Seta pulled Mari into a hug, the other girl returned it and Seta swore that she would protect her no matter what.
