I ran down the stairs, knowing that the party was starting soon. Cody and Masie were at our parents house tonight so we had nothing to worry about really, they'd be home in time for 'Santa Claus'.

The doorbell rang and it sounded the fact that someone was here. I reached the door and looked outside to see it was just the Holden's. Jake and Josh smiled at me, their twinness was giving me the creeps.

"Come on then." I said.

"Nice to see you too Lance." Josh chorused and I groaned.

Wilbur and Josh made the popcorn and Zack waited at the door til Maggie came. I rolled my eyes, slightly annoyed at his impatience but could feel my own rising beneath my stomach.

They were just about to start the movie and I almost feared she wasn't coming, until I heard the bell ring and Jake went to the door. "Hello Cymphoni."

"Cowboy belt boyfriend." I heard her say and I jumped. She was a bit on the sassy side but then again so was I to an extent.

"Lance." She laughed and I smiled.

Tapping the small space next to me, she nodded. Jake was in the chair with Tori on his lap, Zack and Maggie were cuddled on the couch, and Wilbur and Josh were just hanging out on the floor. They were like the seventh and eighth wheels.

There was that awkward moment where I had to practically squish her, because we were trying to fit two large and two small people into a couch that was meant for three small people. 

"Here, this will be more comfortable." Cymph said and she moved to cuddle under my arm. She then rested her head on my chest.

"O-Okay." I managed to get out.

Josh shushed me when the Polar Express started to play. I lifted my hand out from under me and Cymph and then ran my fingers through her hair as she closed her eyes.
