The Tree
Chapter 1
I sighed, here it was another Christmas. This time of year bums me out so much sometimes. I walked into the kitchen, and grabbed myself a glass of apple cider thinking about how much I loathe this time of year. How all of the relatives want to come and visit, the only good thing about any of it is we get school off and I might get a couple nice presents.
"Lance." I heard the voice of my sister call from the living room.
"Coming." I called. I stalked into the living room and saw the house may have gathered a secret meeting without me.
"Is this the meeting telling me its time to move out, guys let me finish high school." I laughed and they laughed as well. Cody and Masie were on the floor talking about their last day of school that was today, Zack and Wilbur were on the couch chatting about the newest book Wilbur's read, and Tori was pulling a large box into the room and I knew what that meant.

"Its' two days until Christmas." Wilbur said, as Zack moved to help Tori pull in the tree.

"Lance, why don't you and Wilbur hang up the lights outside." Tori commanded rather than offered.
I pulled on a coat and so did Wilbur, then slipped into my boots treading out into the freezing cold air. A half hour it took us, I could of had it done in ten minutes had Wilbur not kept trying to fix it. In reality he was just trying to get me pissed off.
"Look Lance, I put our football one up." Cody said pointing to the ornaments as I opened the door. I brushed off my boots, then practically jumped into the living room so I didn't have to feel the cold tile that welcomed me in our doorway.
"Cool Cods." I said, sitting down next to Zack, looking at the almost fully decorated tree
