Dear Readers,

First of all, I want to thank you for deciding to
check out my book. I’ve been planning on writing a Harry Potter fanfiction for
so long. Lily Potter (his daughter, that is, not Harry’s mother) has always
fascinated me, especially because we don’t know much about her. Another thing
that played a large role in this decision to write about her was the fact that
I share her name. When I first started reading the Harry Potter books, I was
surprised to find out that I shared the name of his mother, and later
overjoyed.

Now first of all, I don’t want to get messages saying
that my story is wrong, that it doesn’t match with the actual story.

For example: in this story I am using Victoire to
become a classmate and a good friend to Lily. Now I know that Victoire was born much earlier that Lily, but this is my story, so I’m just going to pretend
that they’re the same age. The same could happen with other eventual friends of
Lily, like: Scorpius Malfoy, Lorcan and Lysander Scamander, Rose Weasley… and
so on.

Also, there might be mistakes, spelling and/or
grammatical errors. I’m going to edit the whole book once it’s finished, so if
you’d rather wait until then… go ahead.
