Hey there everybody! This is the first ever installment of Hogwarts is How?, so I hope you enjoy! Now, let's get to the news.

CoMC PA applications are also open! To apply to be a CoMC PA, you must have completed Year 2 of CoMC with a 90% or higher, though it's better to have completed more. If you have questions about that, send an owl to Professor Anne. And finally, you can apply to be an Ancient Runes PA if you have completed year 2 of Ancient Runes with a 90% or higher, but again, it's recommended that you complete more than that. You can owl Professor Wessex for questions about that. Please note that all PA applicants have to have completed every assignment for that class for at least one year including extra credit, but you don't have to have all your grades back.

You can also apply to be a Professor here at HiH! Applications for Ancient Studies and History of Magic Professors are open. It is highly recommended that the applicant has completed or nearly completed the entire course (all years) before applying to be a Professor. For questions about that, owl Headmistress Oshiro.

For more information about PA and Professor applications and links for the forms to fill out, visit The Newsroom or the Volunteer sections of HiH.

Now let's take a look at the House Cup. Ravenclaw is still in the lead with about 252,500 points! Hufflepuff is in second with about 203,500 points; Gryffindor is in third with about 174,000 points; and unfortunately Slytherin is in last place with only about 157,000 points.

Now, let's have a look at today's Hogwartle. If you don't want any hints for the Hogwartle, skip this paragraph! If you do, here it is: Voldemort recruited many of this creature, much to Hagrid's dismay.
