Witchcraft 6: The Students from Castelobruxo
Chapter 1
July, 1972 – One day Mr. Henry Henrich was invited to the family Lestrange's home for a gathering of "co-workers and friends" to celebrate the marriage between the young Rodolphus Lestrange and Miss Bellatrix Black. When Mr. Henrich and son arrived, they saw some interesting faces, Mr. Orford Umbridge and Mrs Ellen Cracknell with their daughter (little Dolores Umbridge aged 7), Mr. Abraxas Malfoy and his son Lucius, Mr. Orion Black (the bride's uncle) with his wife Walburga and their sons Sirius and Regulus Black, Mr. Cygnus Black III (father of the bride) and Mrs. Druella Rosier with their daughters Andromeda and Narcissa Black, Mr. Agares Gaunt also arrived among the guests with his daughter Celestia. During the activity, the commitment between Lucius Malfoy and Narcissa Black was agreed, also there were comments about the disappointment that young Sirius has been placed in Gryffindor which is a shame for the entire Black family. Rabastan Lestrange (brother of the groom) made some jokes about the eventual future wedding between Rodrick Henrich and Celestia Gaunt who were mute blushing at the comments. Lucius approached Rodrick to apologize for what had happened in the forest near Hogwarts castle (obviously forced by his father) since Mr. Henry Henrich and Mr. Abraxas Malfoy were fellow alchemists and had established a certain level of friendship, The Malfoys, as faithful believers in the purity of the blood, admired the lineage of the Heidrich surname and Mr. Abraxas was an important pillar for Henry and his son to settle comfortably in Balleymena.
On September 1st, on the train to Hogwarts leaving from Platform 9 ¾, Rodrick and his friends (Celestia and Severus) were discussing Quidditch and the possibility of playing on the Slytherin team now that they were second years, Severus was not very interested in practicing the sport except in flying classes since it was a requirement and although that way he could get the attention of Miss Lilly Evans he was very loyal to his principles, he was not very akin to practicing sports since he preferred intellectual challenges (this does not mean that he was bad, he just was not passionate about it), Celestia preferred to see it from the stands than to play it since once she was hit very hard by a bludger and since then she was afraid to be on the field of play and Rodrick was a bit hesitant because he was not very skilled with the broom, but he could choose to be a striker thanks to his good arm. So, Rodrick would be the only one of the three to try out for Quidditch this year, meanwhile James Potter and his three friends (Remus, Sirius, and Peter) would try out for Gryffindor, Peter Pettigrew playing Quidditch!? The Slytherin boys laughed just thinking about it, although it was obvious that he would only try it because of peer pressure.
During the commencement ceremony, the Principal Dumbledore broke the sad news that Professor Edward Mannock of Defenses Against the Dark Arts had come down with dragonpox and would be replaced by the new Professor Atwood Fernsby, also this year we have three exchange students from the Castelobruxo School of Magic and Sorcery (one for each house) who would be located as follows: Marcela Da Silva from Brazil belonging to House Boitata would be in Gryffindor, Felipe Urfano from Peru belonging to House Uirapuru would be in Hufflepuff and Camilo García from Ecuador belonging to House Yaras would be in Ravenclaw. During the House assignment for the first years in charge of the Sorting Hat, Regulus Black was called up and he was placed in Slytherinall the Slytherin students applauded while Regulus already had a reserved field next to Lucius Malfoy of seventh year and Narcissa Black of sixth year. As the Gryffindors walked past the Slytherins, there was a brief exchange of words.
Sirius: Hey James! Did you see that no exchange students were assigned to Slytherin?
James: The Principal Albus Dumbledore must be trying hard to get along with Mrs. Benedita Dourado of Castelobruxo (smirking)
Celestia: Hey Rodrick! Did you see that Regulus Black was selected for Slytherin?
Rodrick: Finally the Blacks will be able to walk down the street with their heads held high, after the embarrassment they had to endure last year (Sirius looked down)
James: Apologize to Sirius, Henrich! (Angrily pointing his wand at him)
Rodrick: Only if you kiss my ass, Potter.
Remus: Why don't you just go to Durmstrang and leave us alone?
Severus: Is it my idea or does Remus reek of fleas and ticks?
Lucius: Calm down guys! Each one for their respective Houses or I will subtract points using my authority as Prefect (they all listened to Lucius and retired to their dormitories, on the way the Slytherin boys commented on how beautiful the exchange girl is except Rodrick and Severus)
Gaunt: Aren't you guys going to drool over the Brazilian witch like everyone else?
Henrich: She's not ugly but she's not to make such a fuss either, there are prettier girls at Hogwarts.
Snape: Like for example Lilly (sighs with a lost look)
Gaunt: It was pathetic to see the silly Malfoy act like a "responsible student" to show off in front of that girl, if Dumbledore put her with the Gryffindors it's like she was one of them.
Henrich: At least we won't have to put up with her horrible perfume, I don't understand how that stink doesn't bother those who are close to her.
Snape: Did you notice it too? I thought it only seemed that way to me.
Gaunt: Anyway, at least you two have something on your head.
