When we got back we went straight to the roof to try out our new brooms and boy did these things fly. We had only gotten to 10 percent of the speed and we were already winded. I am so excited for this year! I woke up in a flash ready for today. I quickly woke up Ana and we both sped down to the kitchen to get breakfast. As we were eating breakfast we started talking about quidditch and how she would make an amazing beater and how she would hit the bludger towards me. “Ava, Ana!!” our mom yelled, we quickly ran inside and found our mother holding out two bows, arrows, and two swords. We asked her what those were for and she said “They are for protection, shrink these and put them into your pocket and only use them if you need to.”. After that we got our things and got into the car, “Wait!” yelled Ana “We forgot our pets” with that Ana ran as fast as speed into the house and returned with the pets, “ Your welcome” she said as she got into the car. When we got to the station we went to platform 9 ¾ and got onto the train. It was the most beautiful train I have ever seen. The carriages were marble and the seats felt like marshmallows, without the sticky stuff. As we started moving, two sisters burst into the cabin and asked us if we had any room left. 

Since Erin and Austin decided to sit with their friends. We were all alone so we said yes and this person introduced themselves as Amber and Celestia. We started talking and became friends, we started talking about what we are excited about at school. “I wonder if this year they will allow us to read about phoenixes,” said the Celestia “They might even let us read about elves.” “Nahhhh '' replied Amber “there is no way they'd let us read about that stuff, that stuff is boring anyway. You need to get into stuff like quidditch.”. Ana and I looked at each other, nodded, and then Ana started to say, “Guess what,” she asked, and replied, “Ava and I have been invited to join the quidditch team this year.” “Wow!” said Amber “that is so cool”. SCREEEEECH and the train had stopped, we had arrived at Hogwarts.

We were greeted by Hagrid, Hagrid is a very tall man with long grayish-white hair. He led us to the jet skies and we rode them to the castle while everyone else had to take a boat, when we got there we had our first look at the castle, it was a medieval castle and it didn't look like much, but when we entered the castle, it was beautiful, ghosts were flying around, there were paintings and everyone was headed to the main hall. When we entered we were amazed, the roof was covered in stars, the walls had statues all around the sides and there were 4 large rows of tables. Then we were called one by one to the sorting hat. Ana made family history by being the first Gryffindor in the family, Amber got Ravenclaw, Celestia got Slytherin and I am a Hufflepuff, so we had to split up. It was a little sad but we said our goodbyes and went to our tables. There were so many people but I stuck with Austin. We ate the Welcoming Feast and went out for free. So I met up with Ana, Celestia, and Amber. They were all so excited about the new school.
