Going Back
Chapter 1
"Come on Riv!" Frank yelled, laughing over his shoulder. I smiled and
Sprinted through the barrier. The glicining Hogwarts Express, stood
before us. I climbed on. Frank and I found an empty compartment.
"Rani!!" A high-pitched squeal sounds from the door.
"Lils!"
I get up and hugged Lily. She walked in, Severus followed in behind
her. Frank doesn't really like Sev, but I don't really care. I don't
really like Alice, so we're pretty much even.
"How was your guys' summers?" I asked. Lils beamed.
"Great! I absolutely love my parents!"
"Fine. Mostly the same," Sev grimaced.
"It'll get better Sev," I promised him.
"What about your summer?" Lils looked at me intently.
"We
visited my aunts and uncles. Didn't go to well," I looked down. I
observe my outfit ( www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=10065... ), carefully.
Just as Lily was about to break the silence, a slight rapping came from
the door. I looked up again and groaned. James Potter stands at the
door.
"Hey Evans. Go out with me?" He smirked. She made a small gagging sound.
"No,"
she said, plain and simple. A familiar laugh echoed through the
compartment. Sirius. I started to panic. He can't…he can't be here! Why
is he here? What does he want from me?
"Hey Ana," another familiar voice piped up.
"Oh! Hey Remus," I waved a little.
"I didn't know you friends with her!" Sirius whisper/yelled to Remus, a hint of aggravation in his voice. Remus ignored him.
"How are your werewolf studies going?" He smiled widely at me. I nodded.
"Great. I've learned so much about them, that I sort of wanna be one," I shrugged. Remus's face hardened.
"Remus? Was it something I said?" I put a hand on his shoulder.
"Um…we should go. Love you Evans!" James yelled, running away.
"That was weird," Lils scowled.
"You're friends with them?" Sev gaped.
"Not
really. Remus just helps me in my studies. Dumbledore assigned him to
me. He's also been teaching me about werewolves. Fascinating creatures,
they are. If only I knew one, then I could see its responses to
different people. It could injure someone more, if the person inside
hates the certain person. Or vice versa. I do feel really bad for them.
They have no control over it. They might even accidentally kill their
best friend. In just hope that they'll make a cure. Then all the
werewolves could be free!" I finished my ranting, only to realize that I
wasn't really asked about werewolves.
"Sorry," I mumbled.
"Oh no! It's great! We need you to talk as much as you can before school," Lils winks at me.
"Well, Well, Well. What do we have here?" A voice mocked. I looked up.
"Lucious," Lils snarled. He ignored the warning in her voice.
"If
it isn't The Werewolf Girl and her pathetic brother," he sneered. I
lowered my head, whilst Frank stood up. Lucious walked away laughing.
"I hate him," Frank concluded. I nodded.
"He's just a twat," Lils sighed.
"And a bully," Sev adds in.
"Yeah.
He doesn't have friends like you, so I guess he would be," I agreed. I
love my friends. With all my heart. But there still is a little bit
saved for Sirius…
