Dear Diary,

A few days have passed, maybe even a few weeks. I've been doing really well according to my teachers, getting at least over a 70 grade. I'm currently working on two essays in the Slytherin dormitory, a DADA and a Charms one, but I thought I'd should pull my diary out and spend a few minutes writing.

Well, first off, I befriended a girl, Lea Aprile. I met her a few days ago. We started a conversation in the Great Hall, after dinner, and we came upon the topic of friends. She shyly asked if we could be friends, and I said yes! She's very sweet and understanding, and so smart! Lea's in her dormitory right now, supposedly doing her homework, like me, so I better get finishing my essays. Anyway, I just wanted to give you a short update on my life, so bye!
