Jarvey
Chapter 3
Yogi, it's me again. I'm back for another lesson and another entry. This entry is going to be about Jarveys. A Jarvey looks kind of like a ferret, though I mistook it for looking like a weasel. Jarveys are what are used to kill the Gnomes when you don't want to spin them and toss them out of your garden. They're very brutal, but effective. These animals are amazing once you learn a lot about them.
I find the Jarvey interesting because they are known for having the ability of human speech, despite their Ministry Classification of Beast. Normally, if you're capable of human speech, you must be a Being, unless you're a ghost, then you're a Spirit who's capable of human speech, as you were human in life and capable of speech. Their speech is very rude, so you really can't hold a proper conversation, though you can try. You can keep them as pets, and like Fwoopers, you can use Silencio on them so you don't have to listen to their rude talking.
Now, I have a story to tell you about a Jarvey. I'll never forget this story because of the fact that a Jarvey was involved. I went to visit a friend one day, and my friend had a pet Jarvey. She still has the Jarvey, but it kept spouting very rude things to me while I was visiting. My friend insisted on not using Silencio on her Jarvey because she didn't want it to be construed as animal cruelty. I told her that not using Silencio might be construed as human cruelty for having to be subjected to rude comments as torture. Her Jarvey was brown and I could see him constantly burrowing the whole time. It was as if he was trying to get comfortable, but couldn't. He was saying very rude things the whole time. I just sat there rolling my eyes and I didn't let the rude comments get to me. My friend fed her Jarvey some rats and it was rather disgusting to see the Jarvey eat them. I think that was when I took my cue to leave. I'm not sure I ever want to see a Jarvey again.
