Lesson Nine: Other Flights of Fancy Study Guide

Chapter 10

All objects in a home, such as furniture, were once used as a travel method. A flying chair was used due to comfortable seating. However, it was slow & had a tendency to fall out of the sky. Also, being stealthy was an issue. Chairs such as wooden chairs, rocking chairs, & armchairs were used. Beds, footstools, & coat racks were also used at one point. Bael Bakwell would try taming dragons that were okay being ridden & wouldn't burn stuff around you. In British dragons, Bael's work counts for sixty percent of dragon traits that we know.

The materials that Aileron Boreard used to make his Whizzers was goblin smith metals, wand wood, blown glass, & cylindrical or flat shapes. In 1947, Alileron showed off his prototypes in the United States. However, in 1969 he was forced to close down, as his Whizzers was sighted often by Muggles & was gossiped around the world by Muggle news.
