Diary of a First-Year Hufflepuff
It’s me, Grace. I’m a first-year Hufflepuff who likes to write my day at Hogwarts. I hope you find my diary interesting and enjoyable and I hope that future generation first-years will also learn as they go, just like I did. Many of these entries are based on actual events happening in my life, but obviously I twist the stories a little to make them more magical!

A Moment of Relaxation
Chapter 12
Dear Diary,
I am currently sitting on the couch in the Hufflepuff common room with other 'Puffs. Everybody is just doing their own thing - chatting, doing homework, playing games, all that stuff. And believe it or not: A girl named Donna Fordwing and her friend Fiona Goodsmith are currently planning how they will sneak out to the kitchens at 1AM! Also about that "Forbidden Forest dare" thing I mentioned in my last chapter... I really don't have the guts to go there, and my friends let that dare slide. Lucky me! Anyways, it feels so good to be sitting here and just chilling. I'm sad that tomorrow is Sunday though, ugh! Classes on Monday. Well, at least we don't have classes on Friday. That means an extra day to relax.
Comet is sitting here right next to me. Her tail is so fluffy! Best pet ever. I've been thinking of getting another pet like a Pygmy Puff or cat or even an owl, but I think one pet is enough.
I think I'll be going to bed soon. Goodnight from the Hufflepuff common room!
