Lyric had been with Sirius and Remus for about 3 months and was getting dressed up to go trick or treating when they got the news of the Potters' murder. Sirius ran out of the house and a few seconds later a loud crack sounded and he and his motorcycle were gone. Remus hugged Lyric tight, sobbing, until she pulled away and ran to the kitchen, returning with the cookie jar. She put it between her legs to hold it, pulled the top off, and pulled out two cookies, offering him one and holding the other in her mouth while she wiped his tears.
