"UUUUHHHHH!!!!"
"AHHH!"
"Stella! Don't scream!"
"Sorry! But Brian's-"
Three girls, Morgan, Stella, and Kailey, slammed a gate that led to their school's mini garden, trapping a Boy in their grade, Brian, out.
They ran to the nearest bushes, which was told to be haunted, and hid. Unfortunately for them, Brian got the gate open. He walked slowly towards them, arms stretched like he was a zombie. "He can see us!" Morgan desperately yelled. "Come on!" Stella said as she ran out of the bushes. "Where?" Kailey asked as she followed Stella. Morgan followed Kailey out and said, "I know a way. Come on!"
She led the girls to another part of the garden, which was blocked off by a fallen tree that no one bothered to deal with. She crept through a hole; while the two other girls followed.
Brian couldn't see them. He looked around confused, which made Stella giggle. Morgan shot her an evil look which made Stella stop, but she was too late.
Brian was heading for them.
The three girls froze. Luckily for them, a older boy that looked like Brian- his brother- yelled out, "Brian! We need to go!" Brian groaned as he walked out of the mini garden. Then, he stopped, turned around, and called out "I will get you some day! Don't think I won't!"
And that was the last of him today.
Morgan, Kailey, and Stella walked out of the bushes, brushing off soil. They skipped on the colorful stone steps up to a very colorful bench. Morgan hopped onto it, and sat down where your head was supposed to go. Kailey sat down on the bench next to her, while Stella lied down on the remaining part of the bench, her head on Kailey's lap. "Phew." Kailey said.
"That was close." Stella finished. "I know, right?" Morgan asked.
They started to go into their own thoughts, the Kailey broke the silence. "Guys, can I tell you a scary story?"
"Sure!"
"One day, many years ago, there was a woman named Bella Noble. Now, this woman loved to garden. She didn't love anything more than nature. Anyway, she was out buying plants and seeds at a farmers market one day. She was planning for a marvelous party.
"So, when she thought she was done, she found a odd looking plant seller that she had missed. She went up to him and looked around. There were many odd seeds. She finally picked two square shaped seeds, paid for them, and walked home.
"She planted the seeds, and over the night, they grew. They were huge. But Bella didn't seem to care about how odd everything was. She cut off a branch and put it in her room. That night, she heard a scuffing noise. She didn't care.; she fell back asleep.
"A few weeks later, Bella found a birds nest in the tree. Everything was empty.
"Over the next few weeks, everything was strange. Bells rang in the night. The plant outside died randomly. A squirrel came and died the next day.
"Then one day, the same squirrel came. Bells were floating through the air; ringing.
"Then, the next day, the party had come. People were there, but they only saw blood. A trail of blood. Some people followed it and found Bella Noble. She was dead.
"And so were the people who had waited outside.
"With a bloody tree hanging out the window."
Stella and Morgan gasped.
"You mean-" What ever Stella was going to say had got cut off by a person staring at them.
"Excuse me..." Morgan looked at the person and studied her.
The girl had long, silky, curly brown hair. Her eyes were light green, and she wore a long, purple dress with black leggings under them. She had the same stylish boots as Morgan.
"You-" She chose her words carefully; she had a German accent, "Magic is real. You have magic. Learn about it. Become a hero. Join us.
"Join the Elementers. "
