Chapter Three- The First Lesson

Chapter 3

So now you are enrolled. You are ready to begin your first step as a true Hogwarts student. Before you begin, make sure your work station is clean and organized because it is a proven fact that students cannot concenrate as well with a cluttered space. When you are ready to began your first lesson, there is always the question that remains, preventing you from continuing. "What course should I embark on first?" The choice is yours. of course. However, I highly, highly recommend you make a neat list in a place that you will not forget of your courses. Then, start at the top of the list with lesson one, week one, and continue down. This way, you will not miss a lesson in any of your courses!

Once you begin your lesson, read the whole thing one time without interruption. After this, return to parts you may not have understood. The third time yiu read through it, take detailed notes. You never know what might come up on the quiz. If you have any questions, be sure to contact the Professor. And yes, it is possible to cheat. But the only person you are cheating is yourself. If you want to have the textbook open beside you, that is fine. But you are cheating yourself out of a magical education that you will have for your lifetime. If you wish to cheat, you may want to reexamine why you applied for Hogwarts in the first place.

-Profesors, whether they say so or not, wish to be called Sir. It makes them feel respected and honored. Be sure that you are using polite language whenever possible and answer their short answer questions in complete sentences.

Good Luck and do not be too nervous. If you follow these pointers, you have nothing to worry about.
