“Why aren’t Seamus and Dean back with the beans yet. It doesn’t take that long.” said Ginny. “Everyone else has been here for at least a half an hour. Do you think they are in trouble?” She looked at everyone else in the room hoping for a nod or a head shake. “Should someone go look for t-” suggested Luna but she was interrupted by a loud familiar apparation pop. It was Dean and Seamus. They were covered in tiny scars. “Some mad witch attacked us. Sorry for the delay.” People were muttering ‘it's fine’ under their breaths and continued to watch hemione brew the potion. Dean took the beans and put them in the potion. A strong blast of bright, purple light emitted from the potion signalizing that its ready. “Lily, I trust you with this.” said McGonagall “As soon as you come back wipe all five of your memories.” Lily gave a small nod with a forced smile. She really didn’t want to. She wanted to remember her son. His beautiful face and his amazing personality. She wanted to remember her angelic grandchildren. She wanted to remember that she will soon die and make her last four years the best of her life. But she didn’t have a choice. She needed to live her destiny. “I’ll go first” James offered. “If anything goes wrong, I want it to happen to me.” James took the bean left hand and his wand in the right. Just as he was about to say the incantation he was interrupted by a back hug from Harry. “I’ll miss you dad... really but how will I ever be happy if I remember again and realise, I just let you go without an effort.” he said. James smiled and replied with “Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, when only one remembers to turn on the light. I will miss you to son.” before saying “Tempus reverterio” followed by two flicks and a swish with his wand. His frame soon disappeared and harry fell onto the ground on his knees. Ginny wrapped her arms around him and pulled him into a side hug. One by one, Peter, Remus, Sirius and Lily repeated what James had done and disappeared. Harry head and heart hurt more for every person that left. He felt like fainting, but Ginny’s tight comforting grip helped him keep his eyes open. “We know it hurts harry, we know.” she kept whispering into his ear as the tears were streaming down his face.
