After they all went to the hospital wing, they went straight back to business in Hogwarts. “Hurry up everyone! This is a school, not Daigon alley.” Shouted McGonagall. “For merlin’s sake, stop distracting my students mister Thomas. No not you Dean, Seamus. In my office everyone. Hurry up! The classes are still ongoing.” They all lined up and went one by one into the headmistress’ office. When they went in they saw multiple faces. The one that brought the most attention was the old headmaster of Hogwarts, Albus Dumbledore. They turned to Dumbledore’s immediate right and then they saw it. Snape’s large portrait was hanging in front of them. His long greasy black hair and crooked nose were shining in the light. “Severus! We need y-” McGonagall said before she was interrupted by Snape. “What a pleasure” he said. “Black, Lupin, Pettigrew and Potter all in one room.” The sarcasm was extremely obvious. “I’ve been waiting for this day. The day when you all would come to me, begging for help. Perhaps that’s why I did the jinx in the first place. So, tell me Potter, how did you fit through this door? I didn’t know there were doors big enough to fit your huge, arrogant head. And you Pettigrew, didn’t know you were going to be so thick to betray your only friends.” Snape was about to insult them again. But he couldn’t when he saw a certain red-haired girl, staring at him with noticeable drops of tears in her bright, emerald-green eyes. She was the only thing he needed to show humanity. The only thing he ever wanted. The only thing he ever needed. “Tempus reverterio” Snape said in a low voice. “Say it with two flicks followed by a long swish with your wand towards some ‘Berties Botts every flavour beans’ that have been soaked with besaritus potion and eat them. It was my first time trying the jinx so I don’t know if it will work.” McGonagall thanked him and they all lined up again to exit the room. “Lily... Wait, I- I am very sorry for everything I did you know. The saying of mud blood. I joined Albus when I knew he was hunting you.  I tried to protect your son from all the dangers. To you, Potter, Black, Lupin and Pettigrew. I was going through a hard time, and I lashed out on you all. It was all because I was being pushed, pushed by the Slytherins to do what I never would have done before. Harry, I never meant to call you a arrogant snob and all those things I said about you. You’re the best thing that ever happened to me, you were like a son to me, and I pushed you away. All of you away.” Snape said. He looked beyond guilty. He had silvery tears trickling down his face. It was the first time they had all seen him like this. Tears were visible in Lily’s eyes, and it looked as if she wanted to talk but no sound came out of her mouth. “I know Sev, I know. If it means anything you are like a brother to me. Goodbye Sev” was all she could say after trying for almost a minute. The atmosphere in the room had completely changed. No one dared to say a word or move a muscle. “We should, we should um leave. The longer we stay, the more danger we are causing.” Remus said. Hermione nodded and everyone followed her out of the room. They all walked in complete silence. As soon as they were out of Hogwarts, they apparated into the Potter manor which was filled with broken objects and drops of blood. Hermione opened her book and found the recipe for besaritus potion. “Dean, Seamus you get the beans. Ginny, Luna gets me a dragon liver. “Remus, Sirus and Teddy you bring Chizpurfle carapace. Neville, Peter gets me maw and four tubeworms. Harry and Ron, you two bring me a cauldron and brass scales. James and Lily take care of your grandkids. McGonagall and I will keep watch.” said Hermione. “If that is fine with everyone, lets meet back here as soon as you get what you need.” They all rolled their eyes but again this is one flaw of Hermione's. “The magic word if you please Hermione.” said James in a cheeky manner. “ Shut up you arrogant toerag and no I do not please so go. Get on with it. NOW”
