The cause of the situation
Chapter 10
“If you don’t mind me asking, how did you guys even end up here?” asked Ron “Did you use a time turner or something?” Everyone heads turned; they were all curious about it too. “Well, we were playing this game and eating the Berties Botts every flavour beans we got from Mary and then...” Peter started. “And then everything sort of started spinning and we passed out.” Remus continued. “And when we woke up, we were at the ministry.” Sirius finished. “But no one else came here with us...” James continued. “So, I’m guessing what brought us here was in the beans.” Lily finished. “Maybe some sort of prank or failed magic attempt.” Everyone was silent again. Hermione pulled books out of her undetectable-extendable-charm-bag and began reading them, looking for ways to go back in time. “We could try to make a time-turner? But no... that could take months, maybe even years. What about some sort of potion? Or maybe a charm? What do you all think?” She asked. “You know I remember Mary saying she had to meet Snivellus a few hours before she gave us the beans. And Mary hates sharing her food.” Remus said before staring at his James, Sirius and Peter. “Are you all thinking what I am thinking. I mean he did say he’ll get us back for hexing him in potions.” he continued. “Hexing him in potions? James, you said you stopped. I trusted you. You know Sev is a bit sensitive.” Lily interrupted. “I’m sorry, I really am but this is not the time to argue about this Lils. And what do you expect me to do when he hexes me every chance he gets?” James replied with a hint of annoyance in his voice. Ginny was getting impatient. “So, if we assume that Snape tried to prank you by jinxing the beans, that means he must have counter-jinx. All we need to do is talk to him.” she said. Sirus rolled his eyes. “But how can we even ask him? He’s bloody dead!” Luna made a weird noise, her blonde hair moving as she laughed. “You know it's not completely impossible to communicate with him? His portrait...?” she said smiling. It was the first time she had spoken today. “Luna Lovegood you are brilliant.” Harry said before hugging her. Everyone gathered around and soon it became a giant group hug. Maybe everything could still be fine. Harry loved his current life with Ginny, James, Albus, Teddy and his friends. Maybe losing everyone Harry loved again wouldn’t be as bad now that he had the chance to say goodbye.
